Hankook RH06 or RH07

The Hankook are still riding really good! I still haven't gotten them to squeal yet.....=) great in snow and rain so far.. Time for an alignment next week to make sure they last!

It's depressing talking about the snow... 5 more months....I'm glad I started riding a motorcycle though..

I concur on the RH06's.
I bought my beast Dec 30/08, (in the midst of a super freakish snow year for us here in Vancouver, BC) and it came with the these tires, almost brand new tread too : )

The week after i bought it, went up to whistler (sea to sky, gotta be one of the nicest, mountainous, windy drives around). And it had DUMPED. I musta counted ~15 cars in ditches or just skidded off the road. I even went passed a 2005 Cherokee flipped on its hood. Wish i took a pic, but my hands were glued at 10/2.

The FX, just kept on goin. I swear it was prolly the most nerve racking drive i've been on. Just gotta drive slow, some ppl think that since they have a 4x4, they're invincible in the snow, worst mistake u can make.

Anyhow, haven't compared them to anything else, but they feel/look bloody great.

Cheers,
j

OK-I've read all of the reviews, and saw the June tire poll which actually showed the
Yoko Paradas with the highest vote.
I am looking to get new tires and have basically narrowed it down to the Yoko Parada
or the Hankook 06's mentioned here. I see both are good and maybe there were more Yoko owners at the time of the poll but wondered why one would replace a Yoko with a Hankook.
Just wanted some updated feedback as to the condtion of all aspects of the tires after youve put some miles on them.

Honestly, this debate is like beating a dead horse. I don't know if anyone actually has used both and can really say which is better, if one even is. If you have to choose between the two, pick which one is either cheaper, or looks better.

I went from Yoks to Hankook.
Price played a good part in it (had just sent in the a big chunk of change to pay off the car). Reviews were great on the Hankook. So I pulled the trigger, I dont see any difference from the Yoks to Hankook. Im happy with them. Would probably get them again, if nothing else comes out.

I've had Yoko's, Avon Tech ST and now RH-06. Avon's ride the best, the Yoko's had crisp handling but craptastic ride. The Hankooks match the Yoko's handling and get close enough to the Avon's to make them a proper compromise. The Avon's excel in snow however and also just look better...nice wide tread pattern and square shoulders (much like the stock tires in this respect). The Yoko's and Hankooks have a rounded shoulder

Haha, I seriously won't let it go though. Every time he says something stupid, I'll pounce on it. Depending on how things turn out in the next couple days, I may have a different title I want to put.
