They just weren't bolted down all the way....not the GW kits fault, just the person who installed them.
Will had the same problem when he didn't even have a grounding kit installed. So
Whitehair...glad everything was found and fixed.....going to check my gwires tomorrow, but after driving another 120miles today after picking up the car.....I have no problems.
This really does sound like a faulty ground issue. That's usually what causes "funky" electrical problems. This is a very general statement that holds true across a wide variety of electrical components...
Very common for the disco lights when the water gets into the ecu compartment. Has been reported numerous times by other members.
during the battery change, was the battery compartment "cleaned" ? Since the ECU/ECM sits next to that area on the inside its possible to have a leak if you spray in there.
this make me want to go and check that compartment... and also makes me rethink twice about the grounding kit!!!
*sigh*
