South Bay Infiniti Dealership Oil Change / Transmission Fluid Change

Hi Guys,

John Bolter of South Bay Infiniti charges $12 a bottle for the matic-J transmission fluid, and $50 for the labor. It's.........not bad I guess.

For oil changes, you bring your own oil/filter, he charges $20 for the labor. It's..........pretty good. I think it's worth the extra $20 for the hassle removing that belly pan, plus you get a decent wash at the end.

I feel ripped off!! Now I just have to wait another 60K miles......

the labor charges seem ok, I do my own oil change.

Always best changing the fluids yourself......I only changed the oil myself once, and felt a hassle removing the belly pan.

Don't know if this the right thread to ask... Sorry ahead of time for jacking it. But isn't it our transmision sealed? How would one perform a transmision fluid flush ?
