installed custom grounding kit

so yeah i did some "testing" today to see if the ground wire kit actually did anything.

I honestly felt the shifts being a little smoother.
afte ri installed, i reset the ecu (pedal play) and then did some quick accel up to like 80 from a stop (there's a 90 degree angle on ramp to the sawmill pkwy near me, so i get off, pull up to 80, get off the next exit--usually wha ti do when i reset the ECU)

but yeah, I honestly feel it to a be a little smoother shift-wise.
my mind is also telling me that my subs' sound a little different... but im not sure.

overall, it looks pretty cool, possibly does something, is fun to make/install and get your hands dirty....

DIY FTW

*edit*
forgot to mention---
my "testing" went a little too far....
got pulled over (even though i have the k40 undetectable)
for 53 in a 30...i know i know, tsk tsk--it's a straight street with no side roads (the part i was driving on) except for a gas station.
however, my friend was driving in his g37 right next to me, with his loud ass exhaust........but anyways
got a nice little ticket.....cop didn't let me see the gun or anything....but whtvr
the friend iw as with knows a cop in the area and might be able to help me out. if not, k40 gets to pay for the ticket. i just don't want the points....>:o hopefully i can work it out.

i hate the fact tha ti haev friends who do donuts in intersections in broad daylightm or go like 80 in 35mph busy streets, but don't get pulled over...and then i get pulled over for this...ugh....wrong place wrong time i guess..

but yeah.. grounding wire kit FTW

haha, you know they don't have to show you the gun. i saw something on the 350z forums from a cop on all the things he knows, and that was one. and why does k40 pay for the ticket? i always thought that would be a good way to stand behind your product, but they arent idiot proof. what if you are driving along at 100 in a 70 and your detector goes off but you just keep right along? well, doesnt seem fair they should pay in that case. is there any fine print?

its the fact that i have the "undetectable" radar/laser detector and diffuser/jammer. technically i should not be able to be gunned atall.
and they pay when you get a ticket while having that product installed...because your not suppsoed to be able to get gunned
:ehh:

Are you sure they used a gun on you and not just the old fashion way?

well, the bright side is... there are always cute girls in traffic school... some of the cutest girls are the worst drivers. :dontknow:

i actually went to the 5 hour course before i even got my senior license becaus ei thouhgt oyu could like, keep the points they let you take away from it so if i got a ticket it like wouldn't count. found out afterwards that that isnt the case at all..... lol

huh? here in California... you're given the option to go to traffic school (if you haven't gone to any in 18 months), and after attending, points are taken away from you records.

well the traffic school has a 5 hour program thing that I went to. I think it takes away a certain amount of points you had. So if you go in with 2 tickets with 43 points, they get aken away or soemthing. At the time, I didn't have any tickets, but i went anyway because i though you could get like a point-credit type of thing. So if you got a ticket for 2 points, but you already have the 4 taken aaway from the course, you basically get no points....or somehting...idk.
