Curious as to age?

I'm an old guy who caught the bug again after helping to mod my sons cars. I guess you could say I had it once when I was a kid, but that was a long time ago and modding was quite different. We had carburators and distributor caps!

Why the FX? Has family influenced your decision?
 
FX kinda does every task fairly well, & it's one of the few rides you can carry your AutoX wheels to the track in the rear.
No worries though, we gotta wide range of ages here at the scene.
 
For me the FX is a great all around cross-over. Probably mot as much cargo space compared to true suv's but it has the ride of a sports car with enough room for active people and their gear.

the reason i have the FX is
1. my grandfather bought it new knowing he'd be giving it to me
2.its a safe, reliable vehicle that weighs quite a bit.
3. its fun!!:tongue:

Welcome from another old guy My FX is the nicest car I have owned.I have had no regrets about getting it. I'm sure you will enjoy yours.

first car was '94 volvo 940 sedan, then a '00 tahoe. i guess after having a sedan then a big suv, i wanted something in between. heard an FX drive by a friends house one day, and about a year later i got one.

I needed the extra practicality. But I wanted to find a SUV that drove as close to a sports sedan as possible.
 
haha im a older guy :tongue: and i own two fxs because i love them soo much. i have owned Corvettes, Bmw e39 M5, Bmw M3, and alot of sports cars. now im older and have picked something that is bigger and makes me feel like im in a big m5 :tup: this is the longest i have ever owned a car in my older years. just an amazing vehicle.
 
haha yes i have some of my son standing next to it. it had dinan exhaust with no resonater and was midnight blue on black with dark wood interior. ill see if i can find them

Haha...yea....been in the scene for 3 years now. We have been modding for a while!

Wanted to stay with our club so I had to get something that fit in. This FX will be a keeper as my DD as I move forward with my plans for an R8. Glad to see you here, hoping to see something to mod.
