LOL ooooo sir I'm very,very courageous!! I will go from 18 " to 20" hopefully I will be able to relieved someone on the west coast of their 20" and get them PC.. But in reality I do want to go 22 with big tires! I love The DR's set up.. As soon as that is done I will work on getting more power to the V6... My girl surprised me by encouraging me to go SC.. I was like " babe you are so totaly right!!".. She gave me a hard on when she said that..!! LOL

Too many things I want to do.. But in order to move on I need to get my new Struts.. So I can install the eibach springs, the GTspec braces, and the struts. When I do that I jump into getting some tires and rims.. Baby steps, I need to crawl before I walk so I can learn how to run.!!!:laugh:
 
IMO, dont even bother w/ 20 stockerz. They suck. Heavy, conservative offset, small width . . the only thing they have going for them is decent styling. Go 22 with a 35 a.ratio on the rubber

For now, I have a non-GT Spec GT Spec STB :laugh: Also, the OEM rings doesn't fit the GT Spec bar (unlike Stillen) as the "nipple" on the right ring comes under the GT Spec bracket.. edit: Thinking twice, it's so normal for Rubare to think it's a wrong STB. For GT Spec logo to look up as it comes out of the box, the brackets need to be folded inwards and it won't fit that way.. Btw, even with open brackets, it's a tight fit..

I know it was a tight fit.. They did installed the parts that attached to the struts wrong tho.. The gtspec logo should be facing up. And toward I change my STB so the logo it's facing up but it's facing back not foward LOL..

You are riight.. But imagine me all braced up lowered with new suspecion and 18".. My FX will look weird.. I guess I will need to start saving for the rims.. I saw a couple of designs I like.. I think they were 3 piece wheels.. Way out of my range.. But if I power save I might be able to get them.. Let's see how that works.. LOL

The first code is something that should come to your ebay inbox. I just used mine for 20mm spacers.. As for the Stillen, try posting at the .org.. There is a good number of newbies over there.. They might be interested (since they probably don't know about GT Spec group buys)..
 
If anybody missed out on this second group buy and still wants some braces... I'll soon have the 4 point ladder, rear lateral and rear lower tie for sale.
 
Is anyone elses box seem to have never left Secaucus? Last thing it shows is leaving there at 5:22 AM on 2/19.

Close...I want that front lower engine tie. Hmmm.....put me on your list though, need to research the benefiit of the 4 point ladder before I pass. Thanks
 
I have a question, seems like since I installed the rear braces that Im sitting a little higher in the rear? Anybody feeling that or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me...lol.
 
That's odd. Probably your eyes. Cant see how it could affect the ride height.
 
The height of the car should not have changed any. When you installed them did you jack up the car? When you finished installing the braces and put the car back down, are the springs seated correctly? Thats the only thing i can think of?? maybe others can chime in......

Can't see how the springs would have moved, but I will check. Like I said maybe its just me.
 
yea mine was installed wrong too but not a big deal. its just took about 2 min. to fix it. If the logo is facing back just turn the other side :D mine is stays normal.
i just installed strut brace for now. I can really feel the difference. I love it, love it love it... i cant wait to put others on.
