lol well I purchased a 2005 blue FX35. 47k miles. picked it up today. Nice truck that handles like a train on rails. However..why my computer says i am gett 11.7 MPG? thats a low blow.

Welcome! Yeah, that MPG # seems low, even for hard driving. Mine reads 18-20 when cruise is set, and 16-18 when driven hard.

That does seem very low. I drive my FX pretty damn hard and I'm still averaging in the high 17's to date.

If you are doing a lot of aggressive stop and go city driving you will get that kind of mileage.

I just pick up the vehicle yesterday and was checking out the features. Thats when I saw the 11.7..now it says 11.3.

How do you reset it? I thought about that but didnt know how.

Welcome to the scene. To reset it you just need to press the button and hold it down. It will then reset.

Don't rely just on the mpg calculator on the fx. Try doing it the old fashioned way also.

Welcome to the Scene, and high cruising RPM causes for such low gas mileage. It's normal for the FX, i get around 11/12/13 also.
