Slip and VDC Off Lights?

Here we go again. It's strange that the VDC & Slip lights are on again on my car. It looks like it's about 2 years since I had this happen to me. The last time I fixed this was to change the batteries. Well, this time my battery is very strong (2 years ago, I had weak ignition due to battery). I just checked my front pads and they have enough meat on them. I didn't check the rears but from looking at them from the outside, there's a lot of meat on them. I checked brake fluid and it was slightly below maximum. What is causing this? Grrrrr

im having the same issue right now, and my rears pads are prettyyy worn same with the fronts. Im guessing the caliper piston is pressing even more and drawing more fluid out of the reservoir and thats when it goes to the min level, i might be wrong though

Well, its sort of hard to see front pads unless you take the calipers off. i took my calipers off to check the pads and it looks like I have good 40% left. I only check the driver side since i was tired. I did not check the passenger side.

You probably need to take your front calipers out to see if you are really low. You know, it only happens when it is cold and it only happens when I don't wash the car for couple of months. Car is filthy right now and maybe she's just grumpy because I haven't paid much attention to her.

I'm gonna do a full inspection this weekend to see if the inside pads on my rears are no good. Maybe I'll wash down the brake area really good just in case the sensors are being screwed up from being too dirty.

actually you can see the pads really well with a flashlight, you can see the metal and the pad compound surface.

A shop once told me this is a common infiniti problem when the weather gets cold. It happens to me - you guys notice it starting only after the temperature drops?

Mines been doing this latley, I have new pads front and rear and it just did it again the other day and my fluid level was at max.

Has nothing to do with brake fluid or pads in my case. I took the brakes apart to check all of them and they had plenty of meat left on them. My issue went away after the weather got warmer. Very strange....

My lights have gone from coming on once and a while to always on.
both front and rear brakes are new and fluid is at max.
I had one of my homies at work scan it for me and it turns out that my steering angle sensor is F'd up (big bucks)

Seeing this on my 09+ too. As soon as we had our first blast of really cold weather, the VDC OFF, SLIP and RAS (Rear Active Steering) lights came on. Still under warranty so I will have them take a look.

I am having this problem too. I just had the inner and outer tie rods changed. As I was on the way to have a wheel alignment done, the VDC OFF and SLIP light went on. The car still felt and drove normal. After the alignment was done, the lights stayed on. The car still drives fine. I'm gonna check the brake flud levels now and the status of the brake pads.

update on my previous post. I went out later that day to move the car and the lights went out themselves. The car has been fine with no problems since then.

I read on another forum that it could be a bad throttle body sensor.

Guys taking this back from the death, but i have this issue going on right now and diagnosis says it is the throttle sensor.....low signal. But what i cannot seem to find is the location of this part. I did a search on google to see how it looks like as i almost had every part in my hand the last couple of monthes but i cannot seem to remember this one......anyone...??

Ray, I believe the throttle sensor is integrated into the throttle body. Only way to repair it is to buy a new throttle body.

perfect thanks for the info.
i have the P0102 code. it says air mass or air volume signal to.small

so i am doubting cause air volume would suggest the MAF.
