set up on the navigation changed from 05 to 06 as well as the software DVD from 6. something versions(03-05 fx's) to 7. something versions for (06-08 fx's)

can the updated software be used on the older system?

I dont think girls have any idea how much the old one costs. Older still looks & sounds money & doesnt look dated yet at all. Besides, lowering & 22's over 2nd gen Stocks win anyday. I've yet to see one modd'd.

If the '09 FX had those color combinations especially the clear tails as stock, i'ld totally get it.

nope they are not compartible. 03-05 have their own version and 06-07 the same situation.

all years (I think)/FX-on the fob, pressed the unlock button and keep it pressed for 7 seconds... all the windows rolled down

Nope, the 6.X is for the 03-05 models
the 7.X is for the 06+ models.

My 05 rolls all 4. So what could be the difference here between an '05 35 and '05 45?

It's because the '03-'05 FX45's four windows are auto up/down, whereas the FX35 has always had only the front windows auto up/down. In '06, the FX45 reverted back to just the front windows being auto.

03 to 05 Brakes squeek in reverse.FX thing.

Not true :err: '03 FX35, absolutely no squeaks.

FX seats are "leather appointed seating surfaces." The sides of the seats are a vinyl faux-leather. The center arm-rest and door arm rests are also vinyl. (all years? brick and charcoal?)

2003-2008 - FX35: The inability to enter/change address on Navigation while moving can be "fixed" by a simple SPST (simple on/off) switch and some minimal electrical skills.

I believe that is correct, when the SAE certified standards went into place. my '07 is said to be 275.

The 2009 FX is .1 second faster than a Mustang GT...And almost all the FXs i've seen had Asian drivers in them. Btw, i'm Asian also.

where i live you 100% true, im the only one wiht the 2009 fx and im asian.
