After installing:

and here's the links of the short runs (in Auto)
rolling from 90 Km/H

rolling from 40 Km/H - (the driver window was down)

After doing the intake and spacer mod I felt some low-end torque but now with the headers in I barely feel any loss in the low-end and my top end opened up more.

and thanks for Raymond and Cube for their advices regarding which headers to buy.

Nice! With headers the sound gets to really beautiful race engine sound.. If you add a Kakumei y-pipe to that, it gets deeper at the low end and the sound moves more from the intake to the exhaust. With just headers, I felt like I was hearing more intake than exhaust when I did it.

Yea it changed the sound alot but as you said the sound comes from the engine rather than the exhaust. Although one of my friend told that my exhaust tone changed after he hear it with the headers.

I thought about doing the Kakumei y-pipe too but I heared many different opinions about it, some says that it will not give noticable gains. And 2.5 inches to 3" y-pipe isn't big for the 35?

Honestly, I didn't feel a big difference with Kakumei as well and yeah I think 3" is a bit big. What I actually felt was that the acceleration was much smoother and revs flowed better after Kakumei. It doesn't give you a big boost on a 35 but it makes your FX rev a tad better, especially after 4000 rpms.

Also factor in the future mods. If you even replace the mid pipe in the future, the most restrictive part of exhaust will be the Y-pipe. Kakumei works better if you start opening up the other parts of the exhaust as well. I felt a good difference (proved with my 0-60 times) after around 4000rpms after I did the APS exhaust but I don't think it'd work that good with the stock Y-pipe. That said, think Kakumei as a sound improvement and as an supportive element on the exhaust, not a factoring one like headers or replacing rear muffler.

seriously i don't know what to do next I have so many things in my mind. Pulleys (stock size or underdrive), HKS exhaust, EMS like E-manage, Kakumei, also deleting the cats .. maybe resonated testpipes like Megan Resonated testpipes because HFC will cost alot for just a cat.
sometimes I say to myself that I will stop modding at this point.

I bought Berk ceramic HFCs for $311 shipped. They're not expensive. Was planning to sell them as it'll get my FX much louder than I can handle. Be aware though: test pipes will definitely give you drone with headers, you won't like it. Also, if you do headers+HFC, you better get some good cat-back or axle-back. Crappy, cheap exhaust will give you drone as well with headers and HFCs. I was also planning on doing emanage. Already have the ultimate and the harness to go with it but money is short nowadays.. That has to wait or get sold as well.. :frown:

edit: my garage is actually like an FX treasure room. I have underdrive UR pulley as well! Man, I spent sooo much on this car

When we are going to stop spending on our FX !
A local tuner told me that is the E-manage blue is good tool for tunning and it is less complicated than the Ultimate. So I contacted Greddy and asked them about the E-manage blue. They told me:
1. We have not tested this vehicle. E-manage should work on your vehicle.
2. The dimensions on the e-manage blue are roughly (LxWxH) 7in x 5in x 1in.
We believe your vehicle is equipped with NVCS, it is similar to Honda vtec, but functions SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. E-manage blue WILL CONTROL NVCS.
3. E-manage blue or Ultimate will not raise Tranny Pressure. Are you referring to speed cut? E-manage blue will not eliminate speed cut. You will need the Greddy Speed Cut Controller to eliminate speed cut, or you can go with E-manage Ultimate with built in speed cut. http://greddy.com/products/display/?Category=electronics&SubCategory=47 (Greddy speed cut controllers will only work on vehicles that utilize fuel cut for speed cut. Will not work on speed cut via Ignition cut). http://greddy.com/products/display/?Category=electronics&SubCategory=52

I asked them for the dimensions because I'm afraid that it will not fit in the ECU box same as what happened with Turbocad when he installed the Utec. Will it fit (ultimate or blue)?

I thought I answered this post but anyhow here it is:
1) Who knows when we're ALL going to stop spending on our FX? I've come from no knowledge on how even the intake works/installed to exhaust flow speeds thanks to two forums and great members. And spent a shit load of money but so far I love the results.. It never ends!
2) Ultimate > Blue. As far as I know Blue has some limitations on scaling the injectors so if you're going to go e-manage, go for Ultimate. Even Ultimate has limitations (it overrides stock ECU injector scaling, NOT replace it like UTEC or a TS tune) but it's a good tool.
3) e-manage should work without any problems. Many 350Z or G35 users use it and we basically have the same ECU with different additional adjustments. A/F ratio and injector scaling should work which makes it compatible for a tune.
4) As far as I know UTEC is larger than emanage. I don't know for sure but it will be a easier fit than turbocad's. I'm positive that even if you can't hide them completely, you can fit them under the passenger dash so that it'll be barely visible (only from back seat). This way, you can plug in your computer easily as well.
5) Neither boxes can adjust tranny controller. Only TechnoSquare can do it and UTEC (I believe).

utec can't do tranny, but TS can do what they call a "limited tune" that just does tranny, throttle & speed limits & stuff, but no fuel/timing... that's a good combo I think, utec & ts limited tune, but they don't have my ecu map :frown:

They can't scale injectors, adjust timing???? What's the purpose of the TS tune then, Just A/F??? Is that for a remote tune or is it like that on their dyno as well?

no, I mean of course they "can" do timing & fuel with there full tune as they normally do, but they also offer what they call a limited tune for less $$ for the guys who want to run a piggyback ecu like the utec, so you can get all the benifits of being able to fine tune your fuel & timing on the fly, while still having the benifits of ts's tranny pressure raised & throttle limit removed & stuff..
