i know.. but when i did it i did it after the toll booth. if you drive that area youll see that its a huge straight shot. plus it doesnt take that long for fxs to reach 140.. i have a 05 one and i constantly need to be monitoring my speed..
buti will try look at that area after exit 16.. its closer to NYC so by the time i get there i just want to cruise and make it hope without any worries!

So lets just say some of you are "Speed Limiter Virgins" and some arent. As for me i am one. I don't have my regular license yet so i'm not taking the chance. My Top Speed: 110 :frown:

Ok so lets just call some of you "Speed Limiter Virgins" and some of you arent. As for me yes, I am. I havent "popped my limiter" yet. My top speed: 100 :frown:. My next attempt will be 160.

a couple of friends and i went on a canyon run, i didnt take my FX, took my dads Vanquish, my friends cars were an '06 M3, '08 335i, and '08 G37. i hit a top speed of 185mph on a 10mile straight away, was cruisin at 160 4 a bit and saw the gas going down slowly. i raced my friend in the M3, he launched and i didnt, still smoked his ass. i wouldnt suggest any1 goes 185 cuz it was verrrrrrrrryyyy scary slowing down

185 mph? woow. just dont hit the brakes and release the gas. cuz the car would probably shake braking at 185.
and how did u know u were going 185? the speedometer only goes up to 160.
