So I am a total newb to the Infiniti World and want to get some advice as to where to start with modding?

What are my best first few steps to get a solid platform for further enhancments in the future...Visually I can figure it out, more looking for performance mods right now...Throw some suggestions out there!

about +3 hp...

but if you get an infinitiscene.com sticker = +30 :biggrin:

you should see approx +30-40hp with all of these mods....plus tuning will add 8% more on top of that
 
:iS: Sticker will give you status at over HP. You'll be recognized as one of the "in-crowed".

Stock FX claims to give you 280HP but what the don't tell you is that it's not at the wheels. Stock FX usually dyno's at about 220WHP.

Best bang for the buck is usually Breathing mods, Including Intake and Exhaust. If you are planning of ever doing FI, skip Headers. I was also told that the CATs on the FX are already high flow and changing them would not increase horsepower.

Stick to bolt-on easy mods like intake, plenum spacer, and exhaust and you'll get the most bang for you buck
 
easiest way to get increased performance without going all out on turbo/supercharger is just to get the various bolt on mods that are available and then get a tune to tie it all together.
 
you can see that the best time you will get with a FX35 RWD and bolt ons (and ECU tune) is 15-17 sec 1/4 miles and faster will need forced induction (FI)
