Got my Fujitsubo y pipe and magnaflow single path exhaust put on. DAMN its loud! Maybe not for some, but too loud for me. It has a very deep tone that vibrates through your body! My doors actually vibrate at about 2000 rpm. This set up has no resonator, I'm definately getting one tomorrow! Probably a 14" magnaflow...or maybe a 16" to quite things down.

Anyways, driving away from the muffler shop and get a CEL. Go back and it comes up as:

P1754. "I/C solenoid fnctn"

What is this? The guy just cleared out the code and it didn't come back after driving 55 miles. Just want to make sure what this was? I dont know if it is caused by not resetting ECU or not disconecting the battery during install?

Update....the dang vibrations were from a shitty install. Went to another exhaust guy and all he did was start the car.

Immediately, "you got problems"
Crap!

The first installer had the midpipe barely touching the cross frame bar, and a little crooked. I didn't notice or know. I went out to lunch while he did the car. When I came back the car was on the ground waiting for me. New installer noticed right away and fixed everything, and added a 14" magnaflow resonator. Beautiful, only sounds a tad louder than stock, which I wanted. Now if I want it louder, I can take the resonator off, which I might do down the road. Since the dang exhaust isn't hitting the frame anymore, it wont be half as loud inside the car.

Thinking about it now....it was wierd in the first place because the exhaust was really loud insided the car, but not so much outside. Which ended up being because the exhaust touching frame resonated into the car.

And now for some reason the car actually is faster! It felt sluggish before with the first install, now that everything is fixed.....this thing moves!!!! and it isnt only perception, first installer noticed the sluggishness but thought it was from the code P1754, and second installer felt a huge difference afterwards too. WOOHOO I'M STOKED!

little later...still working on blacking out my headlights w/ smoked clear corners, I got one done, now for the other....

You don't need to show the whole car .. place a video camera behind the FX start it up and then rev it.

Congrats for the exhaust. i had this vibration problem before, my stock midpipe was touching the cross frame bar at certain rpm.

Actually P1754 is Coast Clutch Solenoid Circuit Malfunction/P1754.

Here's the site for OEM and OBDII codes.
