I need help deciding..

Hey guys, as some of you may know I recently got my FX about a week ago it's an 05'. I however always wanted a G, but instead my dad ended up getting me this. I'am pleased to say the least, but I'am 17 and I think that maybe the car may suit me better right now? He did mention to me I could sell it if I wanted to and buy a G, but he also did mention the safety that FX has over the G.. Bottom line is I need help deciding what to do... Sell or keep? Dont get me wrong, I love my FX but the idea of a car over it is whats weighing on me..

I can chime in and give you 3 reason...

1) too many Gs out there, very common (count how many compared to FX you see)
2) if you get some rims and mods on the FX, it will really stand out.
3) Also there is a bigger back seat (since your 17 you can "use" it on dates lol).

Your dad is right, the FX is way safer than the G (airbags and size of car). The only bad side is if you have allot of friends they may want rides from you , maybe a good thing.

I think the obvious awnswer here is THE FX!!!!!!!!!!!LOL:top:

G is a dime a dozen right now, but the FX seems to be catching up also. The one thing the FX has over the G is the versatility. A lot more room in an FX for an active person for trips and whatnot.

look dude im 18 and i love my fx i would never trade it for anything trust me keep it they are fun and i agree with themerchant that backseat is handy

I say you get rid of the FX and get yourself a G.
If I were you I'd get a Z instead, I like the lines of the Z much more than the G's.

I say go with the Z or G because when there are Z/G meets, you're automatically invited, instead of showing up with a FX where the people are looking at you with that look on their faces... "WTF? who invited YOU?"

but all jokes aside... if you have to ask... a part of you is wanting to go with the coupe. but like many have stated, G's and Z's are so common.

like bert once said "the fx is an acquired taste". Go with your instinct. if you want a G get a G but if ur ready to handle a REAL MANS car...stick with the FX:laugh:

I agree on the fx being an acquired taste, I remember when they first came out I saw them driving around and always thought they were cool. In 2005, when I got sick of my VW I went on a mission to get an FX. One visit to my local Infiniti dealer and we were on our way home with an FX... Probably one of the easiest sales for our salesman.

I like the G's and the Z's, but the down side for me is space. Every time I go to the dealer and I get a loaner I get a G. I've driven both coupe and sedan and they are nice, but I can't get over how much smaller it is. I love the space in my FX.

Nothing compares to having the same power plant as the G's or Z's and having all that space. I bought my FX for the speed and the space.

I maybe speaking for myself on this, but I actually use my car for what it was built for. Very versatile vehicle.

you cant go wrong either way. but i have to agree on the majority here that the fx is less common and have cargo room if needed.

"my friends are coming out tonight, they all got the same haircut, theyre getting some f***ing p***y tonight too"
great video

If you're planing on modding your fx and you're one of those guys that go on modding until you blow the engine. Might as well sell the FX and go with a Z.

There are a lot of performance and cosmetics mods available for Z's and are comparablely less expensive than FX mods. Z's and G's also handle a lot better and a lot more suspension mods are available for them.

Like others have said, FX is a acquired taste. It's a very nice car and I like it a lot, but if you're after speed and modding, an extra few thousand pounds off of your back would go very far.
