Guys,

What improvements did you notice from the installation of the Stillen STB? I know of the benefits in theory but did you actually notice much of an improvement on the road?

Thanks for any feedback.

i felt like i noticed a difference with my stillen. it seemed like the car could keep the intended path better. the example i think of is when i made a left turn and the FX didnt seem to go as wide as i was expecting. it followed the front wheels better, you could say.

I actually felt more of difference putting my rear GTSpec bars on than my stillen strut. I kind of wish I got in on the GTSpec fronts but was broke at the time.

Did you look at the GTSpec strut bar?

There was a gb that ended but you might want to contact them and see what price they can give you. ***GT Spec Rear Brace Introductory Pricing Special Part II*** - InfinitiScene.com

Thanks for all the info guys.

EDIT: I've decided to order the GTSpec. I will post up my thoughts after it's installed.

Another quick question: What coilover options do I have for a 08 FX35?

None, unless you are willing to ship a set over from Taiwan where they have a set from Apollo. Do a search and you will see some info on them. rookie had them installed for bit but they were pretty firm.

Thanks. Guess I will start with some springs then, either H&R or Eibach appear to be the usual suspects for the FX.

I installed a Stillen STB today, don't know if I felt anything different. I think after I install the rear braces I hope to notice something more. Im also thinking about ordering the front lower braces, maybe thats the trick.

Think about a table with 4 independent legs. Although the legs are connected at the top, it will still move a lot since they're not connected at the bottom. An STB is beneficial in a suspension, especially on hard cornering but without a lower brace, the suspension will still have play in it. The lower brace will mostly fix that. Doesn't matter that much if it's a really thick brace or not if you only have suspension bracing on the top.
