bump for today!

Im hoping to reschedule my time (1:00) because I have to work:thumpdown: If they let me I will make it there later in the afternoon.
I don't want o miss this great opportunity to get some baselines at a incredible price ($20).

hope to see some of you guys there:cool::top:

I called yesterday and all thier spots are full. Dang it....I was going to try and get my first dyno. Still going to head out and check it out...plus there's a guy from nicoclub that is going to install my ground wires.:top:

hope to see some fx'ers there! I'm going to try and get some no shows spot....hmmm 1:00..... sounds like I have a chance!

Thanks Merchant..I stole your spot...:top:

I ended up with a 253 first run and a 242 on the second run.

Fxtion was there too...he had a VERY nice pull...think his numbers were around 350! He had exactly the same number for both run 1 and 2.

No other FX's showed up..well I left at 3:30..Fred left around 2:30. I met with the guy from Nicoclub, and he installed my 9 piece Gwires after my pulls. Sorry Fred, I was in a hurry too.

There was a very nice Titan that I heard pulled a 380! some other G's I saw pull a 300-305.

It was very nice meeting you, too. My runs were actually 340 on both. I'll post the the graph later.

I'm glad that they were able to squeeze you in.

There was a 350z there in the morning that did 380 on NOS.

Yeah it was cool seeing only one other FX around. But now my nephew wants me to get your Lambo doors, Supercharger, and halo's....yeah great.... thanks Fred!

Sorry Merchant...I was lucky to get there right around 12:40 when they were doing the drawing...at about 1:00 they were asking for ya...I saw before I left you weren't making it...they ended up charging me $30 for my 2 pulls.

my numbers:

#1) Hp - 253.6 Mph - 95 Rpm 6300
lbft - 232.5 Mph - 74 Rpm - 4931

#2) Hp - 242.4 Mph - 95 Rpm - 6300
lbft - 227.4 Mph - 75 Rpm 5023

I got my Mean #'s too from another chart....dont know how to read any of this stuff...I will be posting up both charts soon.

Also, I did both runs with the engine cover on....they said it did make a difference because the pulls are back to back.... and if I had it off, the engine would be just a bit cooler....dunno if its true or not....but its coming off...:top:

and who knows.....with a pulley, TSflash, and headers...maybe I can be the next V8 killer...lol....naw...only thing left for me engine wise is the flash...no more after that.....well.....maybe...

I dont know how to read this second chart?? The Hp #'s are at 261.6 & 252.5. Shawn says they throw these #'s away due to a spike at the end of the dyno?

Shawn stated that the Dyno seemed to be measuring approx 6-7hp lower than normal based on winter gasoline. Cars that had already been tuned and dyno'd by him were getting 6-7 lower than normal, and a lot of cars were pinging.

Did the Uprev guys offer Osiris tunes for FX?

Didn't mention it to me...maybe to Fred? There were so many G's there that they basically only talked to them. But I did not approach them either. My wife and I are arguing now cause she continously puts in 87o gas. She refuses to put in 91. So with a tune...I'd be screwed. She's driving our FX now because with the lower gas prices, she says that she can finally afford to drive it again....

Once gas prices go back up...here ya go honey...I'll take the other car.

I have the same problem w/ my wife concerning the gas. But I will show her this:

20 gallons @ $2.49 (regualr) $49.80
20 gallons @ $2.69 (premium) $53.80

not a huge difference in price and tell her you will get better MPG w/ premium anyways vs regular gas.
