Ray's BBK

Thanks for the feedback Ray. Glad they are working out well for you.

What other options would you recommend for a BBK if not this one?

No problem...!! That's what we are here for helping eachother out

Wich other kinda depends on the fact if you want only fronts or both front and rear. I think that for example AP only has a set for the front but aren't sure. Euro brands like Move-It or Brembo don't have any kits for the FX. Good quality and would have recommended it also but as they don't offer anything you have to surch on.

I think Stoptech and Rotora would be best options as well. Friend of mine imports JBT in the netherlands so that was just the easiest way for me to go.....and the cheapest as well

I just got a email from someone other than I talked to and they gave me list price.... so I emailed him back with the numbers I was quoted. See what happens.

attached is the price list they gave me

I still think the Infiniti Akebonos are a steal when compared to these. For the price of one front BBK, you get a front and a rear set.. Why bother with these since you're most likely will use spacers to clear these brakes as well?

your going to sell me yours soon

I just want to get some idea whats available for our FX. I heard from rookie that his opinion on Ksport, and it was a negative one. I read 'car and driver' didnt like the FX50 brakes after their tests (huge brake fade). But I dont intend to track the FX so that wouldnt matter. But if I do get the fx50 brakes then I will go for slotted or CD/slotted.

I had the fx50 installed, feels great and a mean bite. (thanks to turbocad6).

I think you cannot compare these 2 with eachother Ege as the BBK system will brake harder then the OEM systems IMO.
Bigger disk.....more Pots...less fade, but as noted here also it depends on what your doing with it. I have some customers driving 350Z with the euro spec brembo's on and the completly wreck them on the tracks.

But for the money the Akebonos would of course be a good deal, but you can't 100% compare them with eachother is what i mean
