God..
Unlike most of you in this forum, im having the worst time in my life changing that headlight bulb. How could you do that so easily?
So my problem is, the passenger side works just fine. Dirver side doesn't.
Thought sth was wrong with the bulb but when i turn the light on it does come on at first. Before it turns into nice and bright color, for some reason, it goes off.
I don't know anything about this but assuming sths wrong with the connection and fx is turning it off automatically for saftey issue. But again, i don't know anything about it.
Anyone of you know how to fix it?
Help out, THanks!

Yes, try those first to be sure its the bulb and not anything else.

Are these bulbs you are having problems with oem bulbs or aftermarket?

If they are aftermarket, are you trying different bulb colors, like 4300k, 6000k, 8000k or 12000k?

Yeah im going for 8000k.
I know a lot of you recommended 6000 but couldn't help=)
I;ll trying putting the stock bulb and see how it works.
Thanks!

ohh yea..one more thing.
Do you know if its alright just to connect the bulb to the balast and turn the light on to see if it works without putting into the headlight, clipping and all that?
That would save some time for sure.

No problem. You may have just gotten a bad set of bulbs from the vendor. If after you switch the bulbs around and the same bulbs still gives you the same problem then you know that bulb is bad and ou just need to get a replacement from the vendor. Good luck.

To be sure its not any of the connections I would at the least properly seat the bulb in the headlight, clip it from the rear and securely attach the ignitor and make sure you hear the it snap into place. It doesn't take that much time to do this procedure. Soon enough you can do it just by feel.

So yea i switched around, and as you expected non working bulb didn work on either side while the working bulb worked on both sides. Im quite sure i didn't touch the bulb since i was being really careful and wearing gloves like the doctors in the surgeory. Even if im not happy with the bulbs didn't work out, im kinda glad nothings wrong with the fx. Just lil too impatient to wait for another set of bulbs.:embarrassed:
Thanks doc!

No problem. Yea, you were probably just unlucky and got a bad set of bulbs. Good think nothing is wrong with the headlights, connections or the ballasts. Now you just have to wait out the return warranty process. But glad you found out what the problem was.
