unknown stain on the bottom door of my car?

I was dusting off my car today and noticed couple of very tiny stain on the bottom portion of my door. they are very very small, but they are annoying.

I tried wax, clay bar, and scrubbing. The darn thing won't come off. I must've felt all the spots for good 5 minutes each and I came to a conclusion that the little stain spots are imbedded inside the paint. It sort of looks like the stain that's left by bird shit after you take it off your paint. There usually is a residual stain that soaks into the paint and eventually disappears after couple of days.

Any suggestions on how to take this damn thing off?

maybe using vinegar, like people use to remove water marks? the bird poop connection made me think of that, it could work.

maybe u should try gasoline. they use adhesive before they are doin asphalt. if thats the case, gasoline definitely take that off.

vinegar and gasoline are definitely different solutions! I will try that tomorrow.

The stain is like orangish in color. I'm still wondering what the hell it is...

you can also try "goof off" or goo-off , they can be found at auto-supply stores.
But if you already tried a clay-bar, then humm. let us know anyways.

Maybe take a pic so our resident butcher can have a look.:nerd:

Goo off probably won't work. Surface of the paint is smooth like glass.. The stain is inside the paint. I can't feel it on the surface

if it's tar or something, then kerosene(bug & tar remover) or lacquer thinner may work...
if it's still there after then the only thing left to try is wet sanding... some times a stain will stain right through the clear & even wet sanding won't do it, if that's the case then it's just not coming out without repainting:frown:
