Anyone here anything on the motordyne exhaust Tony was working on? curious as to what happened and if Tony plans on producing it or what? there was some talk about it a few months ago but I haven't heard anything since....

looks real nice (most like need an extension to work on the FX.
The exhaust shown below is one of my favorites.
Simple, effective, sounds awesome and purely functional. Loud, but not too loud.
A progressive, exotic sound that appropriatly increase loudness with RPM. Quiet enough for daily driving and it absolutely screams at WOT high RPM. When used with the Motordyne resonated XYZ pipe, it sounds like a damn Ferrari.

All 0.065" stainless 304 and weighs only 18 lbs.
The Z SHOCKWAVE!

Below are pictures of what will also be available soon.
The VQ muffler is very large and Very Quiet (VQ). No chambers. A straight through design with a single 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets.
Its probably too quiet for most people, but for some, its exactly what they want.

Overview of the XYZ-pipe in the "Y-pipe configuration with a resonator".
NOTE: the resonator really sweetens up the exhaust tone. I give it a:biggthumpup: for sound quality enhancement. It should be able to fit on just about any aftermarket single exhaust setup. AMUSE, JIC, FUBITSUBO, NISMO, ETC.

I really like the XYZ pipe. I wonder if it will be a direct replacement to the stock y-pipe? never mind found this statement on the video "
Nismo exhaust (xyz pipe) WOT"

It looks like it'll fit to RWD but it definitely won't fit AWD. Transfer case will get in the way.. Additionally, it might need an extension for the FX as well.. The mid pipe looks like it'll fit as well but will need a curved/custom piece to attach to the stock rear muffler. The tip/rear section might not fit and I personally wouldn't trade dual tips for a single one, ever..

Looks weird.
Why does the straight part of the Y go skinny/fat/skinny?

I've already volunteered my car as a mule since I drive it once a week. I let him know multiple time and he hasn't said anything yet. I think our vehicle is last on his priority.

Tony of MD is was supposed to go to Precision Z to dyno it one of these weekends. He also has a dual exhaust version. I saw it on the Nissan Sports Mag. By the way the Cats go behind the Y. What large cavities should be are what the muffler supposed to do, I think.

Few months back when I was at his house picking up a few bolts to get my spacer on, I offered the same. I think his bread and butter comes from the Z's and the G'z. Also he needs to Dyno the product by an independent 3rd party before he does anything else. I did not wait and got the nismo.
