2 quick questions

I'm looking at some GT30 wheels with 20x10.5 with 24 offset at the rears. I know that this is a though one and it probably won't fit. It sticks out 36mm and I'm lowered on H&Rs.. What do you think? Anybody went >30mm out either with spacers+offset, spacers alone or offset alone?

Second question is whether the 275/45/20 tires I have will fit the rears.. Some calculators say 10" is max for these but not sure on this as well..

Any help is appreciated..
 
That is a very aggressive offset for the wheel width and will most definely rub with you H&R's. You possibly get away with it if you shave the rears quite a bit and choose the tire with the least side wall bulge.

Those 275's will fir but it will streched out to the hilt and offer no wheel protection and would be dangerous for aggressive driving/cornering.

I believe there are two FX users (one is Thiefcode) that use 10.5 at the rear at +25 offset but in 22s. You're probably right on 275s though.. Too much..
 
Just deducing from my experience. My 10 with +35 offset sitting on 305's do rub. And these tires do not bulge all that much. But if I had on 285's I believe there would be no rubbing.
 
I read Rookies comments about this, he said manufactures specs differ from one to another. dont quote me on that , but I hold it true , maybe he can chime in. (Rookie has tried many many wheel combinations.)

Yes Thiefcode will tell you he has the "dream" setup (quoted). And by the looks of it , it does look awesome.

yeah, I almost got those wheels before he did on the .org.. They look really good.. The thing is now I'm confused between 3 wheels:

Volk GT30 20x9.5 +23 front, 20x10.5 +24 rears
5zigen Gravis 20x9.5 +25 all around
Gianelle Spidero 20x10 +42 all around.

Gianelle's offsets are weak though..
