Where could a guy get a set of Non-Ebay (or non-crappy) Clear tail lights. I've had cheapy tail lights in the past that never really fit and had poor water seals... thanks in advance, BB

ya i really dont think anything you can buy on ebay would be of bad quality, just bad condition. you can always be new though, but plenty good ones are to be found used.

+1 I think all ebay tails are OEM, but used in most cases. I don't believe there are any after market tails for our vehicle.

I'm pretty sure that all the lights you will find are OEM, I've never read or seen anything before on the topic, but I'm pretty sure that there are no aftermarket lights available.

Sorry, if i wasnt clear but i've bought a bunch of "OEM" stuff for my bimmers that were definitely not OEM, they even had boxes with replicated OEM bar code crap on them with stock numbers. So OEM to me means, as far as ebay, crappy unless it's truly OEM?? what the hell was i trying to say? But yeah, i geuss that answers my question, nothing but oem. So heres my next stupid question, which at this point i already know but, clear tails were an option or upgrade from the factory? Thanks for the replies, BB

staring in '05 they came with sport package, and therefore were on all 45's, and sport 35's

Gotta love the sport package. Funny thing is we found this out AFTER buying our FX35. We were dying to get the clear lights and only saw them on some 06s so assumed 05 didn't have them. Then we found our 05 with the sport package and chrome 20's....fell in love!
