None! LOL, there is only the kit from auto xplosion. They do have a front bumper mold and can do side skirts too. PM rookie for more details.
 
No no, thats the company that psiclne is referring to. They are the ones who did rookie wide body. They already have a mold of front bumper non-widebody and they can do some side skirts for you as well.

I've been looking at Rookie's Ride, which is officially my "Wallpaper" (the new blue) for months and months. I've searched high and low and have not found any thing about this kit. I even found the Europian company which make the Ugly version.:laugh:
I've asked everyone (obviously not the right people) about a body kit and no one ever mentioned Auto Xplosion. Now that I did a google search, it's poping up everyware, including the ones I've been reading for months:shot:.

going on the kit. I read in another thread that it cost about $1700 painted. I've looked at other kits for other cars, and that's cheap.
 
the biggest drawback to the fx body itself is the abrupt cuttoff of the wheelwell openings, & the plastic trim that surrounds it.

the 2 choices are either to work with the existing wheelwells & trim, just add to it with bumpers, rockers & stuff, or to really customize the body itself, & eliminate the trim all togeather & redesign the wheelwells completely as rookie did & making it look better than would be possible without altering the body itself.

the only attempt at full body mod I've seen that looks beautiful so far is rookies fx, period. you can't get the same really finished & custom look without full body mod. a bolt on kit can only take it so far. I'm sure that's far enough for most really. the only other few attempts I've seen at altering the body itself look pretty funky, the fx is a hard car to alter without killing it, either keep it pretty simple, or go all out & hope it don't wind up looking bad, as some other attempts have...

Hahah have to say i also have rookies FX as my wallpaper as well for months now. Seen his car at the Sema Show last year and it looks great. No one will be able to top that soon/ever..!!
The only way you can get it so clean is as turbo says full body work and thats just to expensive for both manufactures and clients i think.
The kit made for my FX from Koenigseder outter then the Frontbumper design worked out nicely and i personally think it is the only one wich isn't to extreme.
I chenged the front bumper design to my own liking with a friend of mine as man o man that austrian guy totally blew that one...:eek:
The FX is a showstopper of it's one,but the firms i've seen just made it over the top in my opinion.
But then again hey were not al the same aren't we :biggrin:

haha, ray, yours is not what I'm considering as a "full body mod" though, your just bumpers & rockers for the most part, that's what I ment by keep it simple ... for the record I really like your fx. with the mods you did to the frnt bumper especially... I ment more the few attempts at changing up the wheelwells, eliminating the plastic trims & stuff, those are "body mods" to me... there haven't been many & of the few I've seen, only viets is really beautiful... & that's just in my eyes anyway... beauty is in the eye of the beholder anyway...

Hahah no worry's turbo....!! I can handle it :wink: and was just joking around. And your right Viets car is soooo sick man....!! Nobody can compete with his if your into modded cars that is of cours :biggrin:

Ohhh and about the pics, you guys are talking about a link.....but what if i want to post a pic from my computer files.....??
 
yeah, rookie has definitely set the bar for all out body mods on the fx, that's for sure. I'm dying to do mods to my body & half considering a few things for a winter project... bumpers & rockers are the simpler way... I'm not too into simple though...

of the few real all out body mods I've seen, there was one with just stuck on huge flair bumps out back that was universally just not loved, then there was a white one that was really funky that many have ragged on to no end, although that one actually was the only other that had decent looking wheel well mods really, just some of the other mods & vents on that fx kinda killed it. then there was a red one somewhere that just grafted the plastic wheel well moldings into the body & winded up with a huge flat lip that was not totally offensive, but still a little funky looking to me... haven't seen any others even that even come to mind right now...
