looks like the closes CW is in Pomona or Montclair for my zip code.
It seems that you buy a membership to just one location and be charge $34.99 for a month to month membership.
Seems like a good deal if you don't mind driving to the listed car washes.

it reminds me of the oil change offers I get from salesmen that come to my office. They will sell you a maintenance card that has discounts for that particular business.

good marketing, and maybe a good deal. I just wish they let you pay cash for the membership at the car wash.

Hey Alan, do you have the address to Reasonable Muffler? It's funny, one of the ladies here at work just bought a 2008 Toyota Rav 4 and she say's she wants to install a new muffler or exhaust. She say's she wants to hear the car when she presses the gas. lol. She used to drive a Silverado. lol Any tips?

she can always get a turbo muffler and a nice exhaust tip. or maybe remove one of the resonators (some cars have more than one resonator , but keepthe cat of course). Have you decided on a tip for your muffler yet? Did your coworker like the sound of your car?

Thanks for the info Alan.

I will take her there and see what they tell her. They have not heard it. When I show up I'm usually coming in on my own. But one of my friends wants to check it out during lunch time since I told him I did it.

I have not decided on a tip yet. so we will see. It was a lot of work getting them centered. lol. I'll wait on that hassle for a bit. lol
 
I'm a member at my local car wash "Waves".
Membership cost me $29/month, which is good for me since their best wash is $20.
I get mine washed every week...or at least try to. They have a detailing bay that holds 5 cars.
They do an excellent job...uses rain-x process, so no spots! :biggrin:

The closest car was for me was 511 miles away. So the car wash is cheap but the gas to travel 1022 miles round trip for a car wash might make it prohibitive. Plus by the time I got back home the car would be dirty and need to be washed! So I'm probably going to pass on this particular offer.

By the time you drive the 511 miles to get back home ur FX will probably be dirty again:rofl::tongue::laugh::embarrassed::eek:
 
There's a place down here in San Diego that does yearly unlimited washes. I think it was something like $350 - $375 for a year. Once I got to the point where my Stealth was strictly a show car, I stopped going there. It was Rancho San Diego Town and Country car wash, if anyone's in that area.

seriously, we get rain , sometimes all at once. you have to live here to know the climate. its also rains in Jan, Feb, March , April (showers). ... .

What aer guidos? lol funny sounding word. i usually visit socal twice a year around June/July and November/December

Are you sure that free car wash thing isn't a scam like those free iPod ads?
