Help!!!!!!!!!

Dr. 2K, where can i get a load resister???? My sister is using the silver bulbs on her BMW and they only blink orange(no white or blue). Also i used another set of these for the DTRL and the wattage on the OEM is 21 and these LED's are 36 its that ok or is it gonna melt something(maybe wires or something)

If you want to use led bulbs in the turn signal you have to use a load resister or else you will get the hyper blinking action. I suggest just using a normal chrome colored bulb as most here have done.

OK, i just bought the silver coated bulbs that blink super white for my turn signals but i'm still wondering it the DTRL is going to okay because of the different wattage on between the OEM bulbs and the 36W LED. I bought a pair on super white 7443 just in case if the LED messes up the harness or the wiring, so does any one know if its ok to used the 36W LED to replace the 21W OEM DTRL??

Here are some bulbs that are chrome but will light up with the color of your choice. The load resister is also located on that site somewhere I just can't seem to locate it right now.

Its a little past half way down the page with the bmw pictured as an example.

leds usually draw much less power than regular bulbs which is why you get the fast blinking to begin with, not enough load, I doubt it's actual draw is 36 watts, think they use that to represent the amount of add'l light in comparison to an incandecent bulb at that wattage... 36 watts is a lot for leds...

Let us know how it works out for you.

Btw, you will get pulled over if the cops see you have white turn signals instead of the legal yellow.

i use the stock clear/yellow bulbs for the blinker/sidemarker... next to the 6k headlights and the led dtrls, they look orange enough. bf also made me some indicator lense replacements that seem to blur the light more orange

I checked, it is legal to have white singals in the front here is CA. See

24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.

Got this part from the DMV website.

Yup thats why after about 6 months I took them out. Can't really see the rings and the HID fogs look a whole lot brighter and better.
