Sounds like a lot of fun.

BTW I spotted a Psiclne testerday on Francisquito and Baldwin Park BLVD. lol

Stalker......hahaha - I was heading to the Chevron to get my NOS energy drink. Thats the only place that has it. I needed to wake up for the wedding......zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

with both a 35 and 45 i have raced alot of people at stop lights to about 70. the 45 kills the Cayenne s and my 35 beats the base Cayenne by about 3-4 car links. my 45 i feel is much faster and has alot more torque. i find the 45 way more fun. thats why my wife drives the 35

the new base cayennes are probably on par with a stock AWD 35 0-60...the S will be taken by a 45, the GTS is a beast but will get run over by the new FX50 which will probably only be a bit slower than the turbo.

That sounds pretty accurate.

The only other car that I compared before buying the FX35 was the Cayenne S. And even though the Cayenne S was slightly quicker over the sprints, I was surprised to find that dynamically - handling, balance, agility - the FX35 far surpassed it. And this is coming from a complete Porsche fanboy.

I raced a Cayenne today at the mall. Waited for him to get out of the parking deck and we both took off. Not sure what type Cayenne tho. I took it to 6000 rpm and won.

I think the FX35 would comfortably beat a base Cayenne. I always thought the S would beat out the FX35 in a straight sprint. That was until I saw the video on you tube where a stock FX35 edged out a stock Cayenne S from a dig up to about 80 mph. :questionmark:

Yeah i didn't know the exact Cayenne cuz i just saw the front of it left behind in my side mirror :xd:

I like doing stuff like that if i see a sporty suv, ride its ass then go to its side and gun it. Sounds so nice.

i dont search out people to race, i think it just seems kinda stupid. however, if people want to play sometimes i will have a go. usually dont want to get involved with the kind of people who street race, either.

yup, exactly. u gotta have some fun once in a while but not all the time.

interesting... i havent dont anything to my fx and i could say that i was on the lead vs a cayenne S while going home on the NJ turpike.. we were going at it so i dont think the other driver was holding back...

tho i alway or at least for the most part put 93 fuel in my baby..

93 all the way.

supposidily the 09 murano is suppose to be slightly faster than a last gen FX35..... makes me wanna go take on some FX35 and cayennes..... LOL

Probably because, they updated it's engine. I gotta do some research.

Took a look on the web, & everyone tests differently.
I highly doubt the '09 Murono is quicker than a 1st gen FX, given an equal weight with a RWD FX that has no AWD loss to the front. Murano also has less rated power, & the FX has a far superior transmission for drag racing. CVT generally will kill the numbers, cuz it's built for efficiency, not performance.
