Wheel Offset Question

Brainfart

I was just looking at the 22X10" rims I got sent to me instead of the 20X10"s w/35+ offset that I had ordered and saw that the rims they sent me are 22X10 w/25+ offset and I was planning on 265/40/22 Hankook RH06 tires now I am worried that I am going to have some fit issues?
I had a brain fart the wheels I have are 22X9 w/25+ offset I think they should be fine with the 265/40/22 hankooks.Shouldn't they?

It turns out the labeling on the box was wrong also the offset stamped on the back of the wheel says +15.Mounted one without the tire today to verify if they will work -looks good.See post:WHEEL NIGHTMARE to see pics of fit.

Newbie

ya, I think that would be perfect

(17mm LESS)Inner clearance
(EXTEND an extra 21mm)outer position

I running 20mm spacers on my stock 20x8 with 40mm offset.

Hello, I’m new and in the process of buying a 06 FX35. I've already purchased a Z-Tube, Eibach Pros, Stillen Strut Bar and tires (286x35x22). All I need is the FX!! I've narrowed down the wheels I want. So, as you can see, I’m committed to finding a 35. TIS 07 9.5 w/38mm offset. I'm not sure how the width of the wheel and the offset correlates to the position of the wheel in the well. According to TheMerchant, I should be fine...but will I need spacers, will the wheel extend to far or not far enough? Thank you.

Welcome to the scene.

9.5" +38 is 21mm out so it's a good offset.

I believe this FXer had that exact set up. You could probably run a 10 or 15 spacer if you really wanted to.

Rookie,
Thank you for the welcome and quick response. I understand your word is gospel. Unless you have this vehicle in your personal archive, you are clairvoyant because these are the exact wheels I had in mind (subject to change). Since I've been driving the same car for 13 years (300Z my baby), I'm not to savvy with offsets, etc. However, the insight provided on this site is almost irrefutable. Thx again.
