 .. I'd be too scared to put them on, they might fly off while im driving and have them rolling around inside my wheel.

I think as long as you glued them nicely they wont fly off. I think I'm gonna try them, I need to measure the calipers firts if they fit.

I'll add in another $0.02, and if this thread will go the direction I think it will go, you'll have a dollar pretty soon.

IMO this is similar to a Honda Accord with a massive rear spoiler...

Exactly... I was thinking like a Honda Accord with "spinner" hubcaps.

here's my take on these brake covers... and it's just MY opinion, so don't take it personally... When I painted my calipers red... I was already kinda feelin' a bit cheesy... (in fact, I might even take the paint off, because the idiots that balanced my tires scratched them  ) it's like the guy that can't afford a Panerai watch... but buys something that kinda looks like it... Not "knock offs" per se... but something that's got the Panerai "look", which is fine, you're not trying to fool anyone... But when you put those fake Brembo wannabe covers on... it's like buying a fake Panerai... people can tell. I'm sorry, but I just can't live with it... There's always gonna be that car enthusiastists (sp?) that'll pull up next to you at a light... and notice it, then rolling his eyes at you... (kinda like what I do to people that put the "AMG" emblems on non-AMG M.B.s  ). just MY .02

yeah man, it's even worse than those though cause it's fake! like those guys who wear a fake rolex, ah, who's gonna know... YOU"LL know.... you should do mods for yourself, not anyone else...

the reason to put brembo's is for more braking power & better performance, not to impress someone you don't even know... sht, I'd rather have a real timex than a fake rolex... keep it real dude, that stuff is for posers, you don't need to pose, you got a real deal car, don't cheapen it with phony fake wanna be stuff,

add .02 cents for me please:tongue:

Sweet, we got up to $0.08 :6wink:

Oh I saw a guy paint his calipers on an '08 Lancer (NON-EVO), red, just like mine... they looked very similar only his were smaller, the paint looked all drippy on 'em, and to top it all off, he put BREMBO decals on his stock (yet painted!) calipers. I'd rather see fake BBK like the one posted above than painted stock calipers with BREMBO decals.

it'd be like the bald guy with a bad toupe', the only one you'd be fooling is yourself:biggrin:

OMG!!! You just reminded me of a funny-ass story that happened to me a few years ago... it was near the holiday season, and I had to go mail a bunch of packages at the post office, I walked in with my hands full... (more like my arms full) and was tripped by a rug that was partially flipped over. I didn't fall, but almost... a bit off balance, I tried fixing it with my foot, but couldn't because the stuff I had in my arms were getting heavy, and I didn't want to drop them.... anyway, surprisingly no line... I walked straight up to the counter... and mumbled some thing like "...gotta fix that rug"... at the same time, just happened to glance at the postal serviceman's funky lookin' ol'skool glasses, probably had a weird expression on my face... but apparently he thought I was staring at his toupe' and got all embarrassed... so he started adjusting is toupe':laugh::laugh:. I tried relieving him from further embarrasement... and said... "No, no... I mean THEE rug" and pointed at the rug on floor, but he was kinda lookin' down and didn't see my hand jesture... and said... "I KNOW, I KNOW... I'm fixin' it" I, basically, just let it go... after he was done fixing his toupe'... I just said... "that's much better" and kinda nodded expressing my approval... I was sooooooooo embarrased for him at the time I felt kinda bad, but when I got to work and told the story... I was laughing in tears along with my co-workers.

sorry for the thread hijack...
