cause I am crazy loco...

I really don't drive my car that much and thought I did not need the s/c'r.. But being a guy and all... the "Tim the Toolman Taylor" in me just had to put it back.

had this on my mind and couldn't find an answer in google.

what exactly do the fuel rail spacers do that come with the kit? keep more fuel in the rails?

after seeing this pic i started wondering exactly what the plenum does? does anything happen up above those 6 intake tubes right there? or is it all just heating up the air and redirecting the airflow into the motor.

yup, 1 step back and 1 step forward.

Made it easier to swap to stage 4 though... especially that 7th injector .

My car is pinging now with the s.4 up hills and while accelerating, not sure if it is a bad tank of gas or what. I am probably going to throw in a gallon of xylene and see if that helps. I think I did put in low octane gas before throwing the charger back on..just will have to stay of the gas for a couple of tanks..ugh..

I think it was due to low octane gas, filled the car with 3/4th's a tank of 91 and 1 gallon of xylene... this plus the rest of the low octane gas I had prior seems to have gotten rid of the pinging... I test drove the car for 20 minutes up and down hills on the freeway and the pinging seems to be gone. The car is extremly sensitive at stage 4 compared to stage 2.

Pinging knocking is back only when the car is cold though. It goes away after it get's to normal operating temps.

Took out my stillen and reinstalled the stock box with a drop-in and LMS tube(lots of cutting).

This is the winning combo for me, the supercharger is much more quiet.. no more high pitched scream at WOT more like a muffled deeper whine now..

Sorry for the bad pic.

I just purchased a drop-in aFe Pro-Dry S filter and will be installing when I get it. No more oily filters and oily maf sensors.:top: http://www.autoanything.com/air-filters/60A4151A0A0.aspx?kc=ffalias&from_search=1
