Painted my winter wheels today.

Let me know what you think. I used duplicolor wheel paint. It is by no means a professional job but hey now i can look good driving in the winter too

Umm....I think it came out nice. I can't really tell from the blurry close up. But very nice job and effort.

Thanks! Yeah it definitly was more time consuming than I thought. Sorry bout the blurry pic.

The wheels on the right only had a few coats on in the top pic. The card thing worked out great. It was alot quicker than masking it off thats for sure. No paint on the wheel either

Don't even remind me, I was in boot camp Christmas of 98 in Great Lakes on snow watch. Also lived in Colorado for 5 years, not having the seasons here in Cali does kind of suck.

snow.... its a great place to visit
i painted my rims black(rustoleum satin black) 4 days before taking it to tahoe for a week.
made 12 trips to the snow after that.... they are still black with no chips.

Ummm....correction Jeff. Cali technically does not have seasons, its summer all year long according to places in the country that actually do have the four seasons =)

Fellas, come on! LA has Four Seasons... there's one right on Doheny in Beverly Hills and another in Westlake Village, they are beautiful hotels!

make sure you seal that w/some clear or some sort of sealant.... winter = salty roads.... that paint will get abused.
