Sticker? How much work is that? How 'bout some closeups of the seams?

The price is around $2000, its an matte black sticker..he doesn't have any website or anything cause its just a small man owning a small shop who does it and he does a good job..I'll try to get the name of the sticker though, Im pretty sure you can find it in America. when I saw him working, it looked pretty easy..its just like putting a tint on the window..
 
Ill post some pics of close ups and more photos of the car once I get my rims back from workshop..The sticker comes in a roll, size of 1.5m x 100m(I think:confused:)I'll try to get the brand of the sticker and maybe someone can try it on their car from a tint shop..
 
Wow that's straight gangsta. It's almost completely murdered out.

If it's 1.5m by 100m, then that means ~5ft x 328ft! I think I might actually be interested in doing this lol...

I don't think it'd be quite $2000 per roll... not sure... but I would assume a good chunk of the $2000 he paid goes to the work done, not just the product :biggrin: It LOOKS like it'd be very time consuming, regardless of ease.
 
I'll take some pictures of him working on a car and equipments needed and some pictures of my car and post it soon..Right now he's working on a Land Cruiser and a Crysler 300C SRT8 or whatever..

man CycoDK, ur car is awesome.. we have shops here in UAE too they vinyl cars in matte black.. luxury cars such as BMW 750iL and Porsche 911 and Veron or whatever its called ..

my friends were telling me to paint it matte but i thought it wouldnt look good but after seeing ur ride i loved it ..

Used to live in Dubai for 5 years:rolleyes:, and still go there sometimes for the weekends..one day I'll drive my ride over there..Heard the matte sticker is mad expensive in UAE..Know a guy with land cruiser 08' and he said he paid $5500 for his whole car:eek:..BTW thanks for the compliment..

My car work was $2000..I think the whole roll would'nt cost that much...Anyways just found out the name of the product, its 'MATAMARK E SIRIES' the guys also told me that there is a better product which is made from 3M company. which is much more thinner and stronger..He has done alot of rally cars who put the sticker on instead of the paints to reduce some weight of the car..I don't know if that makes sense:confused:

this might just be the start of a new trend... not necessarily matte black but just having a different color for a bit and change to something else when you over it... Anyone wanna look into a new business?

yea if u didnt notice i mention that.. and now its more around $6000 that's really pissed me off cuz we all know it doesnt cost that much!!!!!:mad:
