i was reading an ad in kijiji.ca in about possible engine problems for our fx's and muranos, is this true?

''Vehicle was a rightoff.Engine and tranmission are in super working order and can give 3 months warranty.E mail me or call Jim at .....And can sell sepratlly. These engines have a sludge problem and the left tensioner goes bad and have chain noise. Also 2 screws from the throttle loosen and get sucked in and destroy the engine. Also the PCV valve gets stuck and oil gets consumed and the engine blows. These are the 3 common problems of these engines according to nissan forums.''

I have over 80,000 miles on my FX. I haven't suffered from a destroyed engine yet.

Also, I believe the Murano and FX have different engines.

I suffered from a destroyed engine :(

Oh and the Murano shares the same engine, just different transmission. As do the Maximas and Altimas.

Oh yeah man, big time BS story. SCREWS FROM THROTTLE LOOSEN AND GET SUCKED IN? I don't even know how that's possible. I have a throttle body sitting in my closet right now and I've taken 'em off of several VQ's, not just my FX.

Also, tensioner on the chain??? Wtf, that's all internal and built solid in the timing gear assembly, the only tensioners that might give way are the belt tensioners, and even those are pretty sturdy. Tighten them up and no more squeaky belts.

Sludge? Wtf? How can a motor that has won best motor for the past like decade have a problem with sludge? These motors are engineering masterpieces.

"This engine family is widely considered to be the world's benchmark V6 engine for its combination of smoothness, reliability and high power output. I think that 1mile is equal to 3.3km. so you'll have to multiple 80 by 3.3 = 264km if I'm correct with the km count
1 mile = 1.609344 kilometers

80,000 km / 1.609 = Roughly 50k miles.
80,000 miles x 1.609 = Roughly 129,000 km

ya thats what i was thinking as well , just had to confirm this bs
