chrome on wheels bubbling!?!

question: would powder-coating chrome rims be hard? wouldn't the wheels need to be completely sanded down?

not trying to be an ass or anything, but i am just curious.

I would think you'd have to.....
 
my previous rims were chrome before I had them powder coated.. they just media blast them before the powder.
