Need opinion on Prodrive Replica Grille

Okay, I decided to "upgrade" the chicken wire mesh that my Prodrive Replica Grille came with.

I have thick Perforated Aluminum, 0.063" with 1/4 inch holes in both raw aluminum and black powder coat. I also have some emblems I may use.

Which one do you like?

1) Raw Aluminum and G35 Infiniti Emblem.


2) Raw Aluminum and Genuine Nismo Emblem (no, I don't have any real Nismo parts).

3) Black Powder coat Aluminum and G35 Infiniti Emblem
(shown with chicken wire on the Prodrive Grille)

4) Black Powder coat Aluminum and Nismo Emblem
(shown on black chicken wire)

5) Black Powder coat aluminum no emblem
6) Raw Aluminum no emblem

Thanks for all the opinions so far - I finally got around to getting some tin snips to cut the aluminum. Here are the "real" pictures with new aluminum. I'm happy it at least does not look like cheap chicken wire (well, because it was). Sorry for the bad pictures, had to use my camera phone.

Decided on the Black Powder Coated Aluminum and Genuine Nismo Emblem. Thanks again for all the feedback. The black aluminum will match my gloss black wheels and just went with the Nismo emblem to be different.

Thanks. Some member got it custom made (I believe 10 were made) in Taiwan. Prodrive never took their bodykit to the market from what I know.

The good thing with your grill, is you are probably able to change looks fairly easy huh? If you ever got bored you could go with all the look you pictured emblem, no-emblem etc... The Bottom line is your grill looks good!

Haha yeah, I bought extra aluminum sheets and already have the combos made... I just need to swap them out.

I just think it is cool that you can do that, wake up one morning and change the grill depending on your mood. Good Job man, keep the mods coming.
