Anyone know a good paint shop for tails and head lights?

bumper has to come off for sure, there held with 2 phillips screws each from behind.... I put mine back on without the screws, they ain't going anywhere but I can pop them out now without dropping the cover... if you do this don't put the screws back in if your going to play with them again, they still clip in, but you can't get them off the first time without dropping the full bumper...
 
not really, just open both side inner qtr covers remove a few bolts each side, then in the rear jamb there are a few plastic covers with screws uner them... the uppr bumer extension panels come off with the bumper.. the hardest thing really is each side of the filer panels are held to the qtr ith clips that are a bitch to release, you have o squeeze the inner tabs to relese them, there hard to get out a little, undernieth I think theres a few more clips or bolts... lok around at it & it should be pretty obvious once you realize to look in the qtr panels for bolts..

thanks rookie... how much would it be to paint the tails and reflectors... and im trying to tint part of my head light basically the side of it.

anyone interested as going in a group... im down
 
It would help if we knew which part of the country you were in, lol. And what kind of ride you have.
 
i want my headlights and tail lights blackened .. but my concern is if i painted them and then maybe later i want them back clear .. cant i like put vinyl tinted stickers lets say maybe 70% and then whenever i dont want them i just simply remove !!

Yes, you can. Go tot www.stickercity.com and ask them about some vinyl tint for your tail lights. Or you can goto just about any tinting place and see what they can do for you. Tail lights will not be that easy but it is doable.

thx Dr.2K .. i visited this site and my friend actually ordered from this site for his nissan altima .. anyways when i said that i'd paint them my friends comments were "What if you wanted to sell the car? will u get new headlights and tail-lights?" i replied "No way, im keepin the FX even if i bought a new car it'll stay!!" hehehe :wub:

so i'll think abt it .. i'll put the tints first and keep it for a while .. if i didnt have thoughts of removing the tints then i'll paint them and keep them blackened permanently :smile:

obvious that i have a fx.... im trying to paint the tail lights all four, the rear light and lower reflectors and partial head light
