spring install

^Holycow that is a lot...i was quoted $200 for the springs and then $65 or $75 for alignment (since i am a g35driver member; gives discounts to members).
 
Pierce paid $570 2 years ago, and Gil paid $383 for labor alone... so, sounds cheap to me... maybe labor is a lot cheaper in Canada?

and don't forget, $485 is WITH alignment which is about $65-$80 by itself
 
well i guess so. i get a discount cuz im a g35driver member so labor for me is somewhere between 60-70 an hour (cant remember off the top of my head) but the spring install has a set price of $200.

labor charges for one area will be different for another; so i guess your quote is good for the prices you have told me but damn its still a lot to dish out just for springs

yeah, the price I quoted is in Southern part of Orange County so that's REALLY cheap... cuz generally the OC will be more than LA county.

Yup sure did, when talking to Steve Monday I pointed to JC picture on the wall. Threw out Will, Mien, Viet and you also Pierce as members. When I called 2 weeks prior I was asked if I had a quoted price. I mentioned to them that I had my springs installed by them back in 05 for $280. I was told that labor has gone up since then so the price will be more than what I paid back in 05. I'm happy with the work they did, no complaints at all. I took the new price as inflation.

Also.....his secretary is was very nice to me.:6wink:

Well, I guess its not too bad then considering he knew who you were and had done work for you in the past. So I don't think he was trying to take advantage of you. A bit on the expensive side but I don't think it was rape, lol. Plus you did the fluids too right.

Haha hes a Dr - his job is to make you feel better - then he hands you the bill and then you feel like crap again......maybe you can get Janice to make you feel better huh?
 
Janice was pretty friendly with me too...

1) either that's just the way she is...
2) she's "instructed" to be "friendly" with the guys cuz times bad and LMS needs the business
3) or that's just the "way" she is... :wink:
