New body kit

That's a fantastic price. I think a new bump runs around 350 ?

I'm curious how this would look on a Silver tho... we have those black trims where as Mark's FX is black and blends well with the trim to begin with...

I would highly recommend painting all the trim to match. The stock sides are completely black, replacing the sides with body colored piece would break the line up from the front and rear wheel wells.

If you don't paint the door trim you end up looking like this. I don't like how they molded the body molding into the bumper, fender, and rear quarter panel. It makes me stare at the wheel well arches and wonder why they are so thick. Keeping the break along the wheel well arches makes it look like you're not trying to hide something.

The prices I guessed are pretty safe guesses.

450 for the front without the mesh, the mesh is not made by me or painted by us. It's a plastic material that does not chip. Ends up being 50 for the mesh with shipping. http://www.customautomesh.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=34

Sides would be targeted at being under 500.

I still think my need for 4-5 prepaid orders on the sides would be the deciding factor to make a mold of the sides. I would still have to come out of pocket to make the molds.

You think you'd sell it pre-drilled and painted. Would it be able to ship safely if it was because every kit i got in the mail was either thrown in a box with no padding or wrapped up with an address on it.

The price doesn't seem bad if you compare it to kits for European cars. I spent almost 2Gs on a lip kit for my Audi TT... The only reason i paid so much was because every other kit I've seen for the car doesn't really flow well or look good at all.

Paint matching through the mail would not make me feel very safe about the end user.

Headlight gaps would be pre-fitted and adjusted before shipping, shipping charges would be actual costs, bubble wrap and inside an actual box would be the only way I'd want to ship these pieces. With the G35 sedan stuff we're doing, shipping is something we will be doing and trying our best at getting the product to the end user in the safest manner.

it doesn't look good with the early door moldings unpainted, but with the 06 up all chrome lower door moldings it might look hot on some cars, they really are pretty cheap, the expense on that whole late model lower setup is the rocker really, but with yours you could get away without that little front chrome tip & just the chrome doors... I think that would look good on some cars, especially if the chrome window trims & silver rack is on....

the rest of the lower textured black trim would definatley have to go painted on any fx I think no matter what color it was...

this thread doesn't have a good side shot that shows how much bigger the sides are, I think your other thread had a good profile shot...how's the fit & how does it look on the inner part when you open the doors? how does it mount? I know theres no way you got this to work with all the factory clips right? that would be really difficult.

What would be the estimated cost to paint the body kit and all the trims?? Any idea on estimates??

I think $450 for the bumper is reasonable.

I would also like to see a good side profile shot of the kit.

This is the best angle I have, hopefully Mark can get some in better light.

The weather stripping seats into the sides, it worked out pretty cool.

That looks like a good match.
Unless you were going to black out all the chrome like handles, grill, areas on back, I think though that having the chrome strip for the '06 and up still able to have on the sides from front to back would look great with this kit.

Im down for the front and sides. If I need to pre-pay thats fine bye me too. Someone let me know who and when. Just want to make sure this will fit a 2006. Thanx in advance.

is your car lower than normal (uncut lowering spring) or is the sideskirt/ big wheel (22s?) that make your car so low?

What would be the estimated cost to paint the body kit and all the trims?? Any idea on estimates??

I think $450 for the bumper is reasonable.

I would also like to see a good side profile shot of the kit.

I'll ask today on the installation costs.

Im down for the front and sides. If I need to pre-pay thats fine bye me too. Someone let me know who and when. Just want to make sure this will fit a 2006. Thanx in advance.

Turbocad would be the best person to gauge how much difference there is in the 06+ sides vs the 03-05s. You would need to run a 03-05 grille to fit this bumper though.
