Lexus LF-A (concept) WATCH OUT GT-R!!!

yeah... ive seen that pic of it on fire.. i believe there is also video... its just a little bug... maybe they work out that glitch.. maybe they recall:rolleyes:

friend of mine just got his mitsubishi wrapped satin black... makes that car look mean. he told me he just washes it with paper towels and windex... (i like your blue though.. always been a fan of that color on cars.. but i do love off colors)
 
250k try 365k usd and you cannot buy the car you have to lease the car for the first 2 or 3 years. it is way over priced car for the numbers it delivers. the "cheaper" ferrari 458 out performs it and costs 100k less lol. thanks lexus but i will pass.
 
Just reported today on HLN, national news... Lexus is going to pic the, "pre madonna" LF-A, owners...WTF!!!! One it's a lexus(doesnt even deserve to be capitalized), two, it's a lexus... O wait I said that already. Veyron, Enzo, SLR and Zonda's get the super star exclusivity (spell check)... not lexus. Especially with there first real try at the supercar market. Its what...? $310,000. With GT-R, 911, F430, LP560 performance. Car's that are a lot cheaper. This boring company got the nerve! Im gonna lose sleep over this... But the car does look good... u didnt hear that from me though.:mad:

I was on the LF-A side till I watched the end of this vid... Saw it early last week. But all the controversy surrounding this car is a bit much. Its just diff because it was made by lexus. I'm sure we'd all have some stuff to say about the Essence if its released and it performed like other car's out there, but had pricing through the roof and exclusive pickings for the consumer's

They could easily do the Essence for half the price of the LFA.

Take a GTR, add about 200-300 lbs of luxury and throw it in the super sexy Essence body, put 2 *SLIGHTLY* larger turbos and voila, you have a 500+ HP Infiniti super-car at $160,000.
 
note that only one part on the entire car is from the toyota/lexus part bin. every other piece on that car is one off.

After seeing the make-up of this car in person, I can't stand it.

The display at the Chicago Auto Show was damn impressive, but the car is not. The paint job on their display model was absolutely horrid, and this car is all show, very little go.

To the untrained eye, everything seems functional. Even I was fooled... until I realized that the things that make this car APPEAR to be a supercar are things that lead you to believe this is a mid-engine AWD supercar. There's very large rear scoops and massive vents under the tail lights characteristic of high end exotics, but there is no motor in the rear! Nothing but junk in this over-priced car's trunk.

I will give it credit where due... the sound of this screaming Yamaha motor is priceless, and would put a huge grin on my face if I heard it in person...
 
hands down GTR is on my "used" car list, wonder if that's even a good idea to shop for a used version 5 years from now... hmm... :confused:

no doubt that lexus LF-A is great, but gtr is proven.
