Wheel Locks

Any suggestions on what wheel locks to buy? Is it best to buy Nissan wheel locks? Or does Nissan wheel locks all have the same key or master key that a theft would typically have?

I figure it's time to throw on some wheel locks and anyone with any experience would be appreciated.

I actually want some too - but i need some that are short like the stock ones - cuz I had gotten some longer ones when I had the Shines on my car, but they didnt fit cuz the Mods have a center cap. The stock locks wouldnt work on the MODS cuz the key was too wide to fit into the holes. But if anyone knows of any please let me know.

Nice, great info I will go ahead and buy those.

To confirm, I just need to buy:
1 McGard Part number 25354
1 Lugs (16 piece set)

(except I'll find the parts that are chrome not black)

Do you have OEM 20's wheels? If you do then I don't have to worry about any fitment issues=)

This looks like total security, wheel locks and locking lug nuts?

I don't have the oem wheels, the lugs and locks are tuner style which means they are bit thinner for fitting aftermarket wheels.

Yep Im gonna pick up the 24013 and see if it will work under the Mod caps. The key looks like it fits inside the nut and doesnt go around the nut like the stock locks do.

How'd you know?=) I'm figuring if they fit under your Axis's cap they'll fit under my Axis's cap.
 
There was a post of them - either here or at the org that I saw.
I'll let ya know how the fitment is this weekend bud. If you have some time shop around - Summit charged a $10.95 "Handling" fee but shipping was free......and its been a week and still aint here.
 
I haven't looked closely at my wheel locks in the last few weeks, but as I remember when I last took off a wheel, my locks have an irregular swirling outline that only fits the locking driver in ONE position--not at several points around the circle like in the McGard photos that shows basically a six pointed star, kind of like a torx drive. An irregular would give more security than a regular or symmetrical outline on the lock.

I will look at them when I get my car back from the parking garage and post again.

I will post a photo as soon as I can.

I got mine from my Infiniti dealer when I got the car.
