Sold my 2003 FX35
I am looking at buying a y-pipe. I have read that for AWD I basically have to get a UTR y-pipe.

What is their web address? I have done search after search and cannot find it!

FYI-Anyone have a used UTR Y-pipe they want to sell me.

TIA

Hmmm... ~$400 shipped or so? :embarrassed:

I been waiting for a used UTR-Y to go on sale for months and months now... might have to bite the bullet on a new one.

i was told on the .org that UTR stopped making Y-pipes so i think we are all out of luck...i was looking for one too

Bottom of page... $401.50 shipped. If they stopped making it, they didn't update their site to show that...

Maybe somebody should let them know that they have the only Y-pipe that fits AWD FX's...
Did you send them an email to check if they are still selling them? if not i will when i get home tonight. maybe if they are still selling them we can set up a group buy since like you said they have the only y-pipe that will fit us AWD...

You should also be aware that UTR changed the specs on the Y pipe after the initial org GB and a little there after. From my recollection, they ended up decreasing the outlet to 2.5in instead of the older 3in.

WHY, might I ask? :err:

I wish I would've gotten in on it so long ago, I just didn't know I'd eventually want it lol...

We could always go the route that TrainerKEN took which was modifying the nismo y-pipe to fit his AWD for his FX45. He also did NOT use the g35 extension due the this modification he sent me a video of his undercarriage...i hope he doesnt mind me posting it for you guys to check out:

Did they cut the y-pipe on both sides and make it longer?

I have the older 3in outlet version.

This is the correct y pipe.

The one you were looking at was for the G35/350z which does not fit our AWD fx's. They no longer have these on sale, but someone hinted that they might bring them back.

This should be the one pierce has, as it's 100% bolt on.

Yes that is the one I have.

Cube, I don't know what the exact reason was for the change but people also asked about it but i don't think we ever got a concrete answer. I think it was something to do with more compatibility.

I think the reason they stopped selling them is because the FX35/45 Y-pipe didn't have a big enough demand because it would only fit FX's...
