What made you choose Fatmax? I've never heard anything about it, just curious...

Price. I used it on my fish tank to reduce the sound from the pumps, and it worked really well. It's very high quality in my book and easy to use.

I think I can hear less road noise coming from the rear on bad roads, anyway, the fatmax doesn't weigh much and can't hurt.

I totally agree with the application, just curious about the brand. I've done my trunk, under the rear seats, and under the rear seat foot-wells so far. I'm going to do my doors next as I still have some insulation left over, but so far every little bit has helped. Do you have any left? What's next?

yeah, I still have a decent amount left. Rear seat and doors are next.

Oil changed, transmission fluid changed, clear lenses next.

how did you drain and fill your tranny fluid? Did you use the drainage plug and if you did, how much fluid drained from the pan?

It was done at the Nissan dealership. I bought 12 quarts, and the master tech said not to flush it and only do a drain/fill. He used the drainage plug and said only ~4 quarts will come out and he will top it off. He was pretty spot on, they used 4 quarts.

They only charged like $20 for labor, I trusted him because he could have used all 12 quarts to do a flush and charge me $100 in labor (bought fluid on ebay). That being said, Infiniti always tells me to do the $200 flush (fluid included).

Love how instead of answering a simple question people have to take the time to have the smart a** reply. I did google it prior and had so many different hits I thought I would ask a simple question with maybe someone having a quick explanation.

It's the 4th link on that page... And if you take the extra 5 seconds to do a search you'll actually learn a whole lot more than just waiting for an answer..There's a reason for a search button... And don't be so damn sensitive:wink (2):

Yes, if you have question, the first and easiest way is to try the title search box on the top right of every page as well as the tags search feature.

No one on this forum should ever be afraid of intimidated from asking any question. That is one reason we also have a separate "Newb" section.

But lets all try and keep things civil and respectful of everyone.
