After we figured out which bolt to use, the rivet installation was breeze. Even if you get both pieces (lower tie brace and 4 point brace) it should take no more than 1 hr to install.

BTW .. Your FX is looking good man, cant wait to see the wheels.:top:
 
Chedman, can you please provide dimensions of the TPMS system since you have them in front of you? I just need the dimensions for the boxy part.

I want to get an idea of how big it is so that I can find out whether it can be placed on my new set of wheels.

No problem: 1.25" length x 1.5" width x .5" height. This is the box not including the valve stems.

I looks like it will fit in the wheels, but I wonder why they said the wheels are not TPMS compatible? Any ideas? Maybe the mounting?

Undoubtedly due to the size of the hole for the nissan valve stem with the TPMS. I bet the hole is too small for proper fit of the TPMS. If that is the case just have them drill a second valve stem hole at the inner part of the wheel that is large enough for the TPMS. That's what I did on my iforged.

Man I'm having a hard time finding a local place to install 22's, every place I go they say they have a hard time with 20"s so they won't touch my 22's. I'm glad they're honest though.

I was really planning on having them installed locally and then bringing it to the dealership to get reprogrammed, but guess I have to go to the dealership for both install and reprogramming... this is going to be expensive.

I doubt the dealer will touch 22's cuz they wouldnt touch my 20's when I had to reprogram my TPMS also. Which is funny cuz when I took it to a Nissan Dealer they did it no problems. They dont have to unmount the tires to reprogram.

At the dealership I go to, they install superchargers so I'm lucky as they're mod friendly:biggrin:
 
I only have bad camera phone pictures. It took me 30 minutes, but I finally got the wheels and tire to fit in the car so I could drive to get them mounted.

265/40/22, 22"x9" Axis Titan's In Gloss Black, lowered on H&R, +15 mm offset. No rubbing, no issues with pot holes, still have decent tire height so not on rubber bands, smooth ride, no complaints. Ride quality is similar to OEM, can't tell a difference.

Looks awsome! Good to know your setup of 22X9 w/+15 offset works without any rubbing issues.I have some wheells the same size and offset that I am going to mount and was not sure about the fit.Did you have to do any trimming?:top:

None whatsoever. I checked the tires too, no marks of rubbing. FX45's maybe are a little lower with H&R's due to weight and I've had no issues.

+15 on 9" width rim is perfect offset.

10/4 I will be using the same size wheels and tires-265/40/22 Hankkok RH06's the only difference is I'm a FX35 AWD:top::top:
