I actually spotted an FX50S in Boston but what threw me off was that the rims looked like the 20" that the09+ FX35 use. I was not able to get a picture since I was riding my bike when I saw it.

Is it just me or are there more FXs in Seattle area recently? Just on the way home from Redmond to Everett i spotted not one not two but THREE 1st gen and one 2nd gen. Have you noticed this phenomenon lance?
