Fading trim TSB

Cause you don't need one if you use any kind of protecant on the interior. But you may need a sunshade if you have black leather interior and don't want to get burned in the summer, lol.

Keeps the car cool & saves the dash, JMO

I had ceramic tint (clear) put on and the tint guy demonstraded how it reduces heat from coming in about 70%. It cost me $180 installed. Keeps car cooler and UV out!

Back to the subject,

I am still under warranty, and thinking about taking it to Metro (Duarte). Should I look for Cheryl for help?

I went over th Metro Infiniti and talked with Cheryl. She said she will order the new trim and it would be under warranty. Also I told her the previous owner had burn the interior A-pillar and she said maybe we can also take care of that under warranty. Cheryl is awsome!
GTO-Dave, ya $180 seems pretty steep, but my wife really wanted it and they said it was harder to do on the windshield.. whatever.

Metro Infiniti is the best, they replaced the trim and also one of my interior A-pillar pieces (previous owner burned it with cigarette).

I picked it up and gave back the loaner car (wow a 2007 G35 really moves!)

Cheryl was great as always.

Go see Metro Infiniti (Duarte):top:

I'm shit outta luck i gues. I called the dealer i bought mine secon hand '03 from Metro Infiniti in Cali and they weren't that helpfull either telling me to do a TSB they needed my car.
Bit difficult if your on the other side of the big ocean is it....?!

You would think that they would help you out even faster as i suggested i took care of the mounting and shipping myself, so no labourcosts for them at all.

They would check this out for me but haven't heared from them since. To bad when you only have to provide some service in form of maybe just 1 phonecall to the manufacture.......

Call Metro again and ask to speak with Cheryl....shes the goto person here on :iS:. Shes been very helpful to the members here. Tell her you're from :iS: and maybe she can work something out with you.

Would Cheryl do it even if your warranty is expired?

you may need to call her about that. My guess is , its based on customer loyalty. and they may give you a courtesy if had used there services before. But if you never been to Metro and this is all you want done and its out of warranty... call her to find out.
or I read someone at the org is trying to do a class action concerning the trim.

where did yo buy your FX? a dealer? if so go to them and threaten a lawsuit.

Yeah bought it from a dealer. I don't understant why Infiniti hasn't issued any recall for this when they know that it's a known issue.

I'll try to call Cheryl and maybe let them do the belt replacement too.
