Ah, I was just in oceanside today at Legoland with the family. But then again I didn't take the FX so I guess it wouldn't have mattered. Good of you to volunteer for this Ken.

I figure it's the least I can do for the forum... since I can't really contribute in anything else due to my lack of knowledge (like performance stuff).

btw, do you think a 2.5 year old kid is too young for Legoland? She's really ahead of her age tho...

Actually no, my 2 year old nephew was there with us today. He couldn't ride much but there are a few rides for that age and playgrounds to play in throughout the park.
 
okay, so I met up with Andy of Bat™ and let him do what he needed to do with my FX to make the templets for the trimmings. They should be ready by end of the week. He'll come up with the prices later but anyone interested can place their orders now.

He wanted to know if we prefer glossy or matte, I would think glossy because the B-pillars are glossy.

He also said he's found a film that's got the carbon fiber effect and said that it actually looks great, like real CF. I think he meant for the B-Pillars tho...

Cool, the rear part doesn't have the fading problems..at least on mine....but might as well do the whole thing.
 
After almost a year of messing around, Metro Infiniti finally called me today to let me know they got the lower moldings in and I'm gonna go in tomorrow to have mine replaced......F'n Dealerships............:mad:
 
Update -

Just dropped off the FX at metro for the Window trim. I also had Cheryl look at the Dash cuz its bubbling where the vents are, so she placed an order for a new dash also.......Scored!

Just got my car back - the Trim is now replaced (finally after a year).
Yeah I saw some other guys having the same issue on the ORG awhile back and no ones really done anything about it, so this morning I asked her to look at it and she said she would replace it under warranty, just have to order a whole new dash. The thing I'm worried about is after they replace it - I hope there arent any rattles and sh*t. I heard its pretty intrusive....

The Bubbles are on the Driver side & passenger side vents. Just above the vents- its bubbling and its been getting worse. I'll try to take a pic later tonight.
