Fading trim TSB

Thanks for the compliment.. I had fun and Mexican sounds good. I might bring my GF next time.. maybe we can set up a double date... let me know brother..

Sounds like you guys had a good time...whatever it was you did. =)

Bert, what makes you say he seems to be running lean? Was there a noticeable difference between your FX and Kens?

Don't worry.... Maya can get someone for you...

just depends how Hot do you want the girl to be... She has some really hot... HOT... HOT... friends...

The launch was good... But as soon at it hit 3000 RPMS on manual or Automatic it sucked in too much air and it felt like it lagged.. after the 35 MPH mark it cought up and then it kicked in.. I am having second thoughts about putting this mod on my FX... How have you results been Pierce..(Sorry to take over this thread)

Nevertheless Ken's fx is fast....

With Tadashi's tune it is better then it was when I first had the LMS intake in. It seems to be quicker in the higher rpm range but can't say for certain in the lower ranges. I can't feel the lag as much but I will know for sure once I test it out on the track this Sat. If its actually slower then the stock box will go back in. It would be nice to get the various modded 45's to the track to see what the real world differences are between them.

nah, we met outside in the parking lot and believe it or not, it was kinda empty.

...anyway, Berto's an awesome guy, insisted to pay for dinner AND even gave me some 8k HID bulbs!

That homeboy's been giving away bulbs like crazy.....the first time I met him he didnt hook me up......infact i gave him some of my software for his ipod....boy I got the short end of the stick - and he still has my jack!

I can't believe that so many dealerships have to order them. I still have them in stock here and they aren't on backorder to my knowledge. If you are out of warranty but still close they can do a "factory goodwill" to get them done, but typically dealerships will only do that if it is a good customer as far as services and stuff. If a person only goes there for warranty stuff then more times than not they will just tell you "oh well."

And yes, the fuel hose campaign and headlight/taillight campaign are safety issues, which is why they do them no matter what.

I think with my situation it really didn't take that long to order, but just a matter of poor communication between service and parts... because when I got a little annoyed they were able to get it the next business day... unfortunately, the next business day for me was the monday after Thanksgiving weekend... which all worked out for me cuz I got to keep the 07'G35 loaner for 6 days... And I needed to do a ton of driving anyway so...

How did you like the 07 G? I haven't gotten to drive one yet.

It's good that they took care of it in your situation. I just don't see why more dealerships don't stock them from this TSB, collisions, etc. That's why we stock them. We do a ton of body orders and were doing this TSB all the time for a while.

I think dollar for dollar probably this best value in it's class... Definitely faster than my 02' Acura TL-S... in cornering, you can "feel" the difference of the RWD vs. TL's FWD... Interior's not bad... kinda think there should be more wood and not the aluminum thing that Infiniti love so very much... but isn't there an option for that? IMO, it should be included...

I dunno about the woodgrain in the 07 G's. I know there is a choice on the M's, and personally I like the aluminum trim better than the wood grain. The wood grain looks cheap IMO.

actually, now that you mention it... I know what you're talking about... it's that hideous light wood grain... That IS bad... I was thinking about the wood in the Lexus IS250/350's interior

The dark wood that comes in the QX56 (which is the same dark wood that came in the QX4's) looks really good IMO. I dunno why they don't put that in more cars.

i guess it varies from dealer to dealer if they have the trims in stock. i shouldve checked all the infiniti dealers in my area. mine went to backorder and have to do a few visits until everything was replaced. according to the dealer, the trim they ordered came with one warped piece so they have to order another one. took awhile, but they eventually replaced all of them.
