Additives-Vitamins for your car?

How many of you buy additives like Chevorn's Techron for your FX?

I got into a discussion/debate with a client yesterday cuz he thinks all that stuff is just a waste of money... He feels that with modern cars, as long as you get your oil change and regular service done... you're just fine...

personally, I like getting my car a bottle of Techron right after every oil change, let's like a little treat...

What's you guys' take on this?

...and also, how often are you guys getting oil changes?

i am getting my oil changes every 5600KM (around 3500 miles). i set it at around 5600 because the odd time if i am a bit late with my oil change i still wont make it past the recommended 6000 KM.

I get my oil change done every 3,000 Miles.

I try to exclusevly use Chevron Fuel or Unical 76.

I can sometimes tell the diffrence when I filler up with ARCO gas... Try not to lately.

Shell V-Power ninety-THREE octane, muwahaha

But yeah I try to stick with that too. As for additives, I don't pay them any attention. Oil changes every 3k miles, 3500 if I'm busy.
