Hello...my name is Roger and I am a longtime Nissan/Infiniti owner-enthusiast! I currently own a 2016 QX70 and a M37 (my wife's primary ride) and both purchased new.
My ownership of Nissan cars goes way back to a little Datsun 1200 Fastback all the way up to 240Z and a 280Z and several SUV's, a truck, and several Maximus. I entered the Infiniti market with the first original Q45 V8 with the 4-wheel steering and rearwheel drive...a beast in the rain!
Both of my current Infiniti's are very low mileage (47K & 33K respectively). My QX70 started dripping (leaking) the black bushing fluid obviously from the "infamous" subframe integrated differential bushing. I took it to my local Infiniti dealer (where I bought it) and they came back with an estimate to replace the entire subframe unit for well over $4K!
I have contacted Infiniti Customer Affairs and now have a Case Number and waiting for a call from "Regional Specialist" to see what if anything they will do to help resolve this obvious factory design flaw. I accept all prayers and suggestions - I love my QX70 but at only 8 years old and Less than 50K miles on the clock this is really a bummer! Looking forward to posting a few photos and reading up on QX70 posts! Thank you and ride safe!
