Tail Light Wiring Harness

Hi All. Trying to confirm if 2017 QX70 limited and non limited tail lamp harnesses are the same. I purchased a set of limited tails for my 13 FX and the reverse light socket does not fit the 2017 lamp.

Would also be interested to know if any other years match the 2017 so I can track down a new harness.

Welcome to i think someone else has done this search the forum for that tread hi think you have to dig deeper in to the wiring to find the right connector or buy an adaptive one others have done that so good luck

I have done some research on this topic. They changed socket styles in 2015 so the previous years tail lights would not fit the bulb socket in the newer one and vice versa. I don’t remember seeing the backup light being different, only the turn signal sockets were different. One solution I found instead of replacing the harness like some users have done is buying the resistor with the right socket to use leds and avoid hyper flashing. That’s what I was gonna go for when I was going to order the clear tail lights (but the dealer cancelled my order ) hope this helps out a bit
