Annoying sound at slow speeds and uneven terrain

Hi all, just purchased a 2017 QX70 Limited - love the vehicle but it has very quickly developed an annoying rattle at slow speeds < 20 km/hr. Vehicle only has 60,000 KM on it and under the comprehensive warranty but I would like some idea of what it could be before taking to the dealer.

It doesn't sound like metal on metal and not rotational. More like a loose component in the engine compartment close to the firewall. I have crawled under the vehicle to see if there is anything obvious but no luck....any idea would be helpful. Motor mount? Ball Joint? Etc.

Cheers,

Steve

Thanks will do. I did have a look underneath previously and there was a felt type material between the exhaust and underbody it was flapping a bit and I used a bit of furnace tape to just see if that was it. But the noise persisted. Maybe closer to the front it has come away.

The heat shields are aluminum and are almost completely surround the exhaust. Just take a small hammer and tap on the shields till you find the rattle.

Had it in today. It was the sway bar links. I had seen other comments regarding this. Work was done under warranty at the dealer. Thanks for your responses.

Did they just need to be tightened? I have a similar issue right now after installing H&R lowering springs.

no they replaced them. It was under warranty so I think they just took the easy route. No noise after.
